LEXINGTON, KY (April 24, 2025) – Opportunity for Work & Learning (OWL) is pleased to announce the appointment of Chad Usherwood to its Board of Directors.

Currently serving as Director of Operations at NexGen Contracting, a Gray company, Usherwood brings significant experience in operational leadership and strategic growth to this role.

“I take pride in NexGen’s mission of building the next generation of skilled tradespeople,” Usherwood said. “It aligns well with OWL’s work of empowering individuals and building sustainable career pathways. I look forward to working together to create opportunities for people across all industries.”

Since 1961, OWL has transformed lives and strengthened communities by building a supported, inclusive, and sustainable workforce. Through skills training programs, vocational evaluations, job placement, and other services, OWL helps people who need support in obtaining and maintaining employment.
